Susie has a Masters in Information Technology (Human Factors) as well as a first degree in PE and Maths, and a PGCE. She has had a varied career starting as a secondary school teacher before moving to consultancy in the field of Ergonomics.

Author of several booklets on workstation design she has consulted particularly in the news media sector and more recently with a major airline. Susie also runs the 400m hurdles to a very high standard (4th at the 1998 World Veteran Championships for her age range). Susie is a qualified Thomas International Consultant and manages Cygnet's finances. She is a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
